Liberation80: University prepares exhibition on anniversary of Košice liberation

On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the city, the Faculty of Arts of the Pavol Jozef Safarik University in Košice is preparing an interactive exhibition.

It will be open to the public from Monday, February 10 to Friday, February 14. The project, entitled Memento hominis (Remember Humanity), was prepared by students of the faculty. The exhibition combines visual art with educational elements.

As the faculty stated, the project is designed to appeal to the public, including pupils and students of primary and secondary schools and universities. It aims to encourage visitors to reflect on the historical events that have shaped our society, while remembering the importance of the value of freedom and human dignity.
