Well, wonder no more ... as in 2014 we’re starting a new series: “Education in the Spotlight”. In it we’ll look at all the positive and negative, all the black and white and gray areas in between - of the Slovak educational system.
This month – we’re talking about the basics of how the Slovak school system works.
And in February - we’ll talk about Schools for all children. Should we include all children in the same classroom no matter their disabilities, underprivileged upbringing or high intelligence quotient? Can we do it? And why are so many first graders sent to specials schools?
