After years of efforts, the Slovak Academy of Sciences was finally supposed to earn a living for itself. In summer it was supposed to transform from various types of budget-based and (state-) contribution-funded organisations into the so called Public Research Institutions. After a few months, the whole process seems to be more chaotic than ever imagined. Who is to blame for the current state?
