During the month of May, you may come across more cyclists in the streets of Slovak towns and villages. This is because of the Bike to Work initiative run by the Slovak Transport Ministry with the help of other participating organisations. One of them is also the Embassy of the Netherlands in Slovakia. So how is cycling in Slovakia perceived when seen through the eyes of someone coming from a country where there are more bikes than people? Zuzana Botiková spoke to His Excellency Richard van Rijssen, the Dutch ambassador to Slovakia.
