While the summer tourist season in Slovakia has officially started, also the folk summer had its kick-off just recently. It is usually the third weekend in June; when the International Folk Festival in Myjava takes place, being the first of the - let's call them - "folk festival grand slam". Zuzana Botikova will take you to the western Slovak town of Myjava, to show you that Slovak folk festivals don't present only traditional folklore from Slovakia.
