According to the MIT Technology Review, more than 26 million consumers had added their DNA to four leading commercial ancestry and health databases. That is more than in all previous years combined. Such services are popular first and foremost in the United States, where people are of different national and ethnic backgrounds. Many of them also have their ancestors in Slovakia and are looking for a way to find out more about them.
