If you've ever used the bus terminal in the western Slovak city of Nitra, you'll know it's long overdue for a revamp, which makes the news that the terminal will soon be completely rebuilt welcome news indeed. On a similar note, talks have been underway between Austrian and Slovak officials to install another cycle-bridge across the Morava River, which separates the two countries. While 25 years ago under communism you'd have been shot dead for crossing the river, today thanks to the new bridge you can ride a bike freely across it. But do we need another one?
