Košice and Spišská Nová Ves to explore space with astrobiologist Michaela Musilová

The Košice Self-Governing Region, in collaboration with local observatories, continues its series of events featuring Slovak astrobiologist and marsonaut Michaela Musilová. Following last year’s lectures in Rožňava, Michalovce, and Trebišov, she will now visit Spišská Nová Ves and Košice.

President of the Košice self-governing region Rastislav Trnka announced that he and Michaela Musilová are working on an exciting new initiative—the Cosmic Region project. This initiative aims to foster extraordinary development not only in the Košice region but across the entire country. Through the project, participants will gain insight into how crew members live and work on simulated space missions, what they eat, how they function outside the base, and how they wear their spacesuits.

A space and technology-themed event will take place in Spišská Nová Ves on 26 February and in Košice on 28 February.
