It’s a river crossing with a detailed history. First it was a pontoon bridge, then a steel structure, then it was wilfully destroyed by German troops, then it was rebuilt by Communists and prisoners, and now, today, it’s being completely replaced with a steel structure that looks intentionally as if it’s from the 19th century.
