Underground, subway, tube or metro... all these names for rapid transit systems define a big city of big importance. Or in other words, one cannot imagine a metropolis without a metro.
Well, you cannot hear those sounds in Bratislava, as this Slovak metropolis doesn’t have a metro. Nevertheless, it was supposed to have one. The plans for a metro in Bratislava date back 40 years.
