The Parliamentary Committee for Education, Science, Youth and Sport concluded on Tuesday that solving problems in the education system requires continuous systemic changes. Furthermore, the committee members on Tuesday adopted a resolution calling on all political parties to declare a public commitment to adopt following the upcoming parliamentary elections a National Education Program for the years 2016-2020. The National Education System is to contain education goals, measures for their achievement, and time schedule as well as financial coverage of individual tasks. Moreover, members of the committee did not adopt on Tuesday a draft resolution submitted by Martin Poliačik (SaS). The draft taken over from teachers contained three points.
