According to research carried out by the travel agency Victory Travel, Slovaks are currently drawn mostly to South America and Asia when looking for an adventure in far-away countries. Travellers are also interested in countries of the Middle East, while they're willing to travel for more than two weeks. "Zealous adventurers were mostly interested in trips to Peru, Thailand, Malaysia, Cambodia, Indonesia, Singapore and Cuba last year," said Victory Travel CEO Juraj Uvíra. "People of all ages like to look for adventure between October and May, when they can flee from the winter," added Uvíra. The average duration of such a trip is currently 17 days.
