Emailed criminal complaint against Prime Minister Robert Fico was sent to the Prosecutor-General's Office by Maroš Ivanič. This former World Bank employee returned to Slovakia after spending 20 years in the USA. The probe came after the statement by Prime Minister Robert Fico on the need to stop a compact Muslim community from coming into being in Slovakia. "...If this is happening to Muslims today, who will be next - atheists or who else?" Maroš Ivanič posted this question in the economic daily Hospodárske noviny. The complaint was filed on January 10.
