Jozef Širila, former director of the state-owned mining company Rudné Bane, will go to jail for three years over accepting bribes, reads the Tuesday verdict of the Supreme Court. The sentence is valid and no appeal is possible. Between the years 2003- 2007, Širila received more than 1 million Slovak crowns (€33,000) in bribes.
