Slovakia is freezing

On Monday, meteorologists warned against freezing temperatures for the week ahead in the whole of the Slovak territory. In particular the region of central Slovakia will experience night temperatures reaching as low as -21°C. While the situation shouldn't be as critical in Bratislava with temperatures ranging from -8 to -14°C, the Slovak capital is ready to help homeless people cope with their plight on freezing streets. As the mayor's office announced, the city is ready to set up a tent camp or arrange for the opening of railway station waiting rooms to shelter the homeless. On the other hand, the freezing cold has helped Slovak ski resorts, improving the skiing conditions to good or excellent.
