Only 8 percent of Slovak employers plan to hire new staff throughout the last quarter of this year, according to a study done by the recruiting agency Manpower . "The majority say they will keep their existing headcount, while seven percent predict a reduction in staff," said Jaroslava Rezlerova, Manpower’s director for Slovakia and the Czech Republic. The strongest activity in the hiring of new staff is expected from employers in Bratislava and Eastern Slovakia. The weakest is foreseen in the rest of Western Slovakia.
