Slovakia’s industry continued to grow modestly in annualized terms in the seventh month of this year. Adjusted for working days, industrial output rose by 2 percent in July, according to the Statistics Office. Industrial manufacturing, mining, and quarrying have been the main driver behind industrial growth during this period. On the other hand, output production shrank in means of transport (-5.1 percent), and production of coke and refined crude oil products (-11.7 percent).
