On Tuesday afternoon one of the most respected Slovak personalities, the Catholic Priest Anton Srholec, was buried in his hometown of Skalica. A dissident during the communist regime when he spent a decade in jail and forced labour camps, Srholec died of cancer last Thursday at the age of 86.
