The Carmaker Jaguar Land Rover, which is to create almost 3,000 jobs in Nitra, has chosen to cooperate with the Polytechnic Secondary Vocational School on Novozamocka Street to train its future employees, according to Nitra region spokesperson Olga Prekopova. The company expressed interest in professions including milling and welding machine programmers, equipment metal workers and mechanics-electricians. "A total of 802 students are currently being educated in technical fields with possible application in the automotive industry at secondary vocational schools in Nitra. According to Prekopova, 447 students have registered to study the aforementioned fields in the following year.
