The Slovak industrial real estate market did very good in the past year, as new investments in buildings for industry and logistics grew and the rate of space vacancy declined. According to the consulting firms working in the field of commercial real estate, this positive trend should continue also in 2016. Tomáš Horváth, from the company Colliers International, forecasts for 2016 a noticeable trend towards tailor-made halls, as well as speculative constructions. According to him, there is sufficient mass of land ready to be built on. The location of logistics halls is particularly affected by good access from the highway, requested rent and offered technical standards.
