Slovak highway stickers going digital as of 2016

Since the beginning of December the National Highway Company (NDS) of Slovakia has formally launched the advance sale of new electronic highway vignettes for cars weighing up to 3.5 tons. Motorists will be able to use them from the beginning of 2016 instead of the current adhesive stickers. The current annual stickers will remain valid as usual until the end of January 2016. Prices and the length of validity of the new vignettes will remain the same as it is at present.
