Robert L, nicknamed Kýbel (Bucket), the alleged ex-boss of the Bratislava 'Sýkorovci' gang, was extradited from Germany to Slovakia on Tuesday. He was placed into pre-trial custody as per a decision by the Specialised Criminal Court (STS) in Banská Bystrica later that day. Kýbel, possessing a forged ID card, was detained in Cologne in late October based on a warrant in the Schengen Information System. Kýbel is linked to a series of crimes in Slovakia, including several murders, arms trafficking and for endangering the general public in a 1995 bombing attack in Bratislava, which killed gangsters from a rival group, Vladimír Daniš and his brother Jozef.
