Hospodarske Noviny daily reported that the average monthly gross salary in Slovakia is set to exceed €900 for the first time ever. Salaries should go up by approx. 3 percent. This development is linked to the boosting of economic growth and the creation of new jobs. Automobile manufacturer Jaguar should contribute to this increase. According to VUB bank macroeconomist Andrej Arady, a new enterprise that needs a lot of employees might try to acquire them at a higher cost. Analysts agree that the following sectors will undergo the biggest rises in salaries: information-communications services, power engineering, banking and other industrial sectors.
