The unemployment rate in Slovakia stood at 10.77 percent in November, announced Labour, Social Affairs and the Family Centre (UPSVaR) director Marián Valentovič on Sunday. Compared to October, when it stood at 10.98 percent, unemployment has fallen by 0.21 percentage points. It decreased by 1.48 p.p. year-on-year. The number of jobseekers available for work reached 290,512 in November. At the end of November there were 35,468 job vacancies at job centres, a m-o-m increase of 2,750. "The highest number of them was in the Bratislava region, the lowest in the Košice region," said Valentovič.
