The state company Slovak Republic Forests is offering about 5,000 Christmas trees for sale via some of its forest administration offices. The most common choice of Slovaks is spruce and Scots pines. "Approximately 10 percent of the trees sold were firs," said Slovak Republic Forests spokesman Vlastimil Rezek.
