President Andrej Kiska, who is also designated the commander-in-chief of Slovak Armed Forces, paid a visit to the Defence Ministry. As part of the annual end-of-the-year visit, Kiska met with Defence Minister Martin Glvac, Chief of General Staff Milan Maxim and other representatives of the ministry. "With Mr President, we discussed current issues, particularly modernisation projects, for which we received praise from the commander-in-chief," said Martin Glvac.
