Slovakia joins the international community and commemorates the International day of Migrants. All around the world, a candle vigil is organised for migrants who have died while trying to get to another country in search of better living conditions. The vigilance was initiated by the International Organisation for Migration. It will be held also in Slovakia. People will gather in the garden of the Presidential palace in Bratislava on Friday at 5 pm. Following the Organisation's data, over 5000 people have died on their journey to a better life between January 1 and December 11, 2015.
