Speaker of Parliament discusses migration crisis in Germany

The migration crisis, European security, bilateral trade cooperation, as well as Slovakia's upcoming Presidency of the EU Council; these are the topics that the Slovak delegation led by Speaker of Parliament Peter Pellegrini (Smer-SD) planned to discuss with the leaders of the German parliament in Berlin. On the two day business trip to Germany, which started on Tuesday, the Head of Slovak Parliament held talks with the President of the Bundestag, Norbert Lammert, and the Bundestag Vice-President, Edelgard Bulmahn. According to Pellegrini, it's crucial to speak about European security: "I am pleased that European attention has begun focusing on the protection of external borders and stopping the migration flows. These positions have been advocated by Slovakia since the beginning of discussions on the migration crisis," said Pellegrini, adding that Slovakia might be under a security risk.
