Italians selling their shares in Slovenské Elektrárne

The Italian group Enel agreed with Czech Republic's Energetický a průmyslový holding (EPH) on the sale of a stake in the power utility Slovenské Elektrárne. Enel should transfer 33 percent of shares in the power producer before this Christmas. The rest should be sold after the completion of the Mochovce nuclear power plant. "We can confirm the agreement was reached between EPH and Enel regarding the sale of Slovenské Elektrárne in all business and legal aspects. The contract for the sale of shares has not yet been signed. Until that point, we will not provide any further comments," the head of marketing and communication at EPH Daniel Častvaj said.
