EURO2016 draw puts Slovakia in Group B

During the European Championship 2016 in France, Slovak football players will meet in Group B with teams of England, Wales and Russia. This was decided by Saturday's draw for the final tournament of EURO 2016 that took place in the Congress Palace in Paris. Immediately after the ceremony, Slovakia's head coach Ján Kozák gave his stance to RTVS: "England is an attractive opponent. In qualifying, it won all 10 matches. It is the cradle of football, so for the viewers it certainly will be an attractive duel and a great challenge for us. The Russians have an experienced team, especially the defense, who have played a long time together, but for us it is an acceptable opponent. Personally, I didn't want to play against Wales. It's a team that plays with great dedication, and it has players who can decide the match. Nevertheless, I look forward to the tournament and believe that the fans will come to support in large numbers."
