A police investigator has pressed charges of scaremongering against a Kosice native identified only as Daniel - aged 26, who called the police on Friday December 4, claiming to have a bomb strapped to himself that he would detonate it if the police didn't come. "After his conversation with the operation centre, he reiterated his threat and added that he had his mother around and he would detonate the bomb. He even indicated his whereabouts. A short moment later, the accused man ended up in the hands of the police," said Kosice Regional Police spokesman Alexander Szabo. The police sealed off the area, but failed to find any explosives. The man was detained. If found guilty he could face between one and five years in jail.
