The lawsuit filed by the Slovak Republic against the Council of EU over the migrant resettlement quotas was officially registered at the EU Court of Justice on Thursday. "I can officially confirm that Slovakia filed a complaint on Wednesday against the decision of the Council on the resettlement of migrants among EU member states", Balazs Lehoczki said on Thursday on behalf of the EU Court of Justice press department. Lehoczki also confirmed that the court expects a similar complaint from the Hungarian Government. The Slovak Republic asks the Court of Justice to declare the decision on the temporary quota invalid. Furthermore, the Council is to pay for related court costs.
