EU interior ministers meet over weapon ban

Interior ministers of EU member states are meeting on Thursday and Friday in Brussels over further measures to combat terrorism and help solve the migration crisis. They are to discuss the banning of weapons, the mandatory quotas as well as the European border patrol, informed the media Slovak Interior Minister Robert Kaliňák. He considers the possible ban on automatic and semi-automatic weapons to be a "slightly hysterical reaction". As all of those weapons used for terrorist acts are illegal so banning the legal ones will not help solve the illegal weapons business, claims Kaliňák. He adds that Slovakia is in favour of tightening the rules, however.
