On Tuesday, December 1, the National Highway Company (NDS) of Slovakia formally launched the advance sale of new electronic highway vignettes for cars weighing up to 3.5 tons. Motorists will be able to use them from the beginning of next year instead of the current adhesive stickers. The current annual stickers will remain valid as usual until the end of January next year. Prices and the length of validity of the new vignettes will remain the same as it is at present. The advance sale began at the information and sale point office of the National Highway Company at the Slovakia-Hungary road border crossing in Čunovo.
