The reconstruction of the Park of Culture and Recreation in Bratislava, which has been dragging for ten years so far, is entering a new stage. A planetarium, a media library, as well as residential and office buildings should be erected on the site of decrepit buildings. The Investor and owner of the lots under the Park of Culture and Recreation, Henbury Development - behind which stands the company J&T Real Estate - promises to revive the Danube Promenade to the Lafranconi Bridge. A square will be constructed, with an oval building for a planetarium in the shape of a drop as its landmark. Several municipal deputies, who attended the presentation at the Primatial Palace on Tuesday, resolutely rejected the new concept.
