Intelligence service’s inspection checks Gorilla II

The inspection of the Slovak Intelligence Service (SIS) has been verifying a document called Gorilla II which was published anonymous on the web last week. Several newsrooms received a link to a 200-page document containing the alleged transcription of phone conversations between the former head of the counterintelligence and various politicians, policemen and secret agents. The recordings cover the period between 2006-2012. Secret Service Spokesperson Branislav Zvara stressed that the agency does not comment on unverified information that sporadically appears on the Internet. "If our intelligence service obtains relevant information that would indicate suspicion of leaking classified information or illegal activities by our employees, such information is always checked through internal inspections", he said.
