Sheik keen to buy Slovak flying car

A sheik from the United Arab Emirates is interested in Slovakia's flying car, named the Aeromobil, the Hospodárske Noviny daily reported on Friday. The daily claims the foreign interest in the technology has been confirmed by Economy Minister Vazil Hudák, who was in Abu Dhabi for talks on cooperation with the Arab country. "The Aeromobil is one of the specific projects that have interested investors from the UAE", said Hudák. The Minister added that during a major technology exhibition in Dubai in 2020, Slovakia's flying car is expected to be one of the main exhibits. At the moment it remains unknown how much will be invested in this project and how many pieces they potential buyer would want to purchase. "This is a question for the future", said the Minister. Further cooperation between Slovakia and the UAE is expected to take place in the medical sphere, with a focus on the treatment of diabetes. "The UAE has a major problem with diabetes ... So we presented them possibilities for cooperation in this area", added the minister.
