Trenčín hotel wins Best Historic City Hotel of Europe Award

The Elizabeth Hotel in Trenčín won the prestigious 2016 Best Historic City Hotel of Europe award at a session of European historic hotels which representatives held at French Château de l'Épinay on November 16. Hotel Elizabeth thus claimed victory in the competition with more than 500 historic hotel nominations. The hotel also ended up third in the Best Customer Care Historic Hotel of Europe category and fourth in Best Adventure Historic Hotel of Europe thanks to historic feasts held at Trenčín Castle. The award pleased Historic Hotels of Slovakia association president Jan Svoboda, particularly in light of the fact that Elizabeth Hotel managed to win two years in a row, capturing first place for best customer care in 2014. "The Historic Hotels of Europe award is all the more valuable because only ten hotels receive this annually. If someone manages to make the top place two years in a row, it's an indication of quality and professionalism", stressed Svoboda.
