Slovakia provided material humanitarian assistance worth €25,000 for refugees in Croatia, the Foreign and European Affairs' press department advised TASR on Tuesday. Slovak Ambassador to Croatia Juraj Priputen handed over the aid to the representatives of the Croatian Economy Ministry in the city of Zabok. The consignment included beds, blankets, sleeping bags, electric heaters, footwear and space heaters. Slovakia responded this way to a Croatian application, which has asked EU-member states to help with the admission and transit of refugees.
