Starbucks stores coming to Slovakia

The US coffee chain Starbucks will soon set up shops in Slovakia, according to an announcement by its parent company Amrest, which has begun looking for assistant and store managers for branches in Bratislava. This was reported by the Sme daily on Monday. "We believe Slovakia is the right place for Starbucks and to support this move we are currently seeking the right candidates to be part of something extraordinary, something that happens just once in a lifetime", Amrest wrote on its website. Starbucks had already begun to sell its coffee from vending machines at Shell petrol stations in the summer of 2015. It is thought by the news website Denník N, that this move was a marketing test to establish interest in the brand. No date has been selected for the first store to open but it should happen soon, the Sme daily reported.
