During his official visit to Latvia over the past weekend, Slovak Foreign and European Affairs Minister Miroslav Lajčák voiced satisfaction with the growing number of Latvian tourists visiting Slovakia, a development made possible in particular by the setting up of direct flights between Riga and Poprad (Prešov region) by airBaltic in 2014. The number of flights is slated to triple this season, with the route to be serviced as of December 15 every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday - with a stopover in Warsaw during the work week.
