A Slovak plane is helping to protect the European border in Greece against human traffickers. For a few days now, above the sea, the plane has been monitoring and searching for boats, writes the Sme daily. According to the daily, Interior Minister Robert Kaliňák has officially boasted about the plane in print advertisements claiming that this is a way that Slovakia is contributing to the protection of EU borders. However information about the plane shouldn't have been made public as it falls under the category of secret information, writes the daily. Minister Kaliňák further stated that the plane had been very successful as it spotted a great amount of boats that were then captured. The small plane is accompanied by a lorry truck with seven elite trained police officers on board.
