The Slovak Cabinet would like to support the establishment of regular flight connections from Bratislava to Kosice, connecting thus the two biggest Slovak cities - one in the West and one in the far East of the country. As Prime Minister Robert Fico stated after the Cabinet's away session in Trebisov (Kosice region) on Wednesday: "We're contemplating a cooperation among the Presov, Kosice and Bratislava regions with the support of Governmental subsidies to set up a regular link with a fixed price departing every day at a pre-determined time," said Fico. The route between Bratislava and Kosice is currently provided by the Czech Airlines. Fico expressed conviction that they'll succeed in creating an alternative airline connection.
