The Technical University of Košice (TUKE) has solid foundations and should make the utmost use of its strength in the future also by increasing the number of foreign students, said the institution's recently inaugurated chancellor Stanislav Kmeť. About 200 foreign students are currently enrolled to study at this university, most commonly from Ukraine and Arab countries. "It is said that a university is strong and has international recognition when some 10 percent of its students are from abroad. We'd thus need to increase the number to 1,000", said Kmeť.
