By Thursday 20 Slovak policemen will leave for Slovenia to help their local colleagues patrol the border with Croatia, which is being crossed by thousands of migrants. Slovakia sends them at the request of the Slovenian Interior Ministry. They will serve 12-hour shifts in mixed, joint patrols. The Slovak side is to cover the equipment and armament while the Slovenian side shall provide food, accommodation and medical treatment.
