The 9th annual Slovak Queer Film Festival (FFi), which introduces films about the lives of gays, lesbians, bisexuals, transgender and intersexual people, opened in the Lumiere Theatre and Film Europe Theatre in Bratislava on Wednesday (October 21). The festival will introduce the most interesting LGBTI films over the past year. Feature films of domestic production are also on the Festival program. Hopeful Slovak director Martin Velic will present his 'V Adamovom Ruchu' ('In Adam's Attire') about the fragility of relationships, searching for and losing trust. Director Tomas Vitek will introduce his documentary 'Familia - Manzelky ('Family - Wives') about the relationship of a lesbian couple. The festival will run until Sunday (October 25) and will feature films of Belgian, French, British and Swedish production as well as films from Lithuania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Chile and many other countries. The festival will tour around Slovakia in November.
