More than a third of retailers would sell cigarettes to adolescents, revealed an inspection of the Slovak Trade Inspection, whose inspectors and mystery shoppers visited in late August and early September almost 300 points of sale throughout Slovakia. Central Director of the Slovak Trade Inspection Nadežda Machutová informed that up to 35.4 percent of them violated the law and sold cigarettes to persons under the age of 18, which is by six percent more than last year.
