Education, Science, Research and Sport Minister Juraj Draxler is set to face a no-confidence motion in Parliament this Wednesday. The session has been initiated by the opposition party Freedom and Solidarity (SaS) that has, in the meantime, managed to collect the required number of signatures from MPs for such a session to take place. According to the Freedom and Solidarity's vice-chair Lucia Nicholsonová, there are various reasons why Draxler should be dismissed. These include the situation at the Methodology and Pedagogy Centre, which is involved in an alleged transaction fraud and the Iuventa building where speculations emerged that the ministry wanted to sell the area, in one of the city's most posh locations, to make way for property development projects.
