The Bratislava refinery Slovnaft, which is controlled by the Hungarian group MOL, is withdrawing from the struggle for a 66 percent stake in Slovenské Elektrárne (SE) that is offered for sale. Slovnaft was bidding for a majority stake in Slovakia's dominant electricity producer together with the Hungarian group MVM. "We are currently no longer communicating with Enel," said the Board Chairman of Slovnaft Oszkar Vilagi for the web portal vEnergetike.sk.
