Slovak president Andrej Kiska left on Monday for an official visit to Estonia, which is to be followed on Tuesday with an official visit to Finland. During his travels, the president is accompanied with a delegation from the entrepreneurial, academic and governmental spheres. In both countries Kiska should meet with the highest political representatives, however, his follow up program should primarily focus on the field of innovative technologies and the digital economy. In Estonia, Kiska plans to visit the e-Estonia Showroom and the NATO Cooperative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence. In Finland the Slovak president will visit VTT - Technical Research Centre of Finland, as well as opening an innovation office in Otaniemi, which should help with the cooperation between Slovak and Finnish universities regarding the transfer of technologies and the development of start-up ecosystems.
